2017 chfa david w. herlinger golf tournament
CHFA's 2017 David W. Herlinger Golf Tournament
raised $75,000 for St. Francis Center (SFC) on Tuesday, July 18, 2017. Funds will support SFC, a multi-service organization for people experiencing homelessness in the metro Denver area, providing shelter along with services that enable people to meet their basic needs for daily survival and to transition out of homelessness. Approximately 144 golfers and 30 corporate sponsors participated in this year's event.
On certain days of the year, our staff raises funds for local nonprofits. Staff members may wear jeans on these designated days if they make a $5 or $10 donation to the organization whose work aligns with our mission of affordable housing and community development. Each quarter, a new nonprofit beneficiary is selected by our staff-led Volunteer Committee.
2017 beneficiaries were:
- Angel Eyes
- Colorado FutureTek
- Family Tree
- Think 360 Arts for Learning
