affordable housing for coloradans

When you’re developing an affordable housing project, Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTCs) provide a significant source of equity. In fact, they’ve provided over $2 billion in equity for affordable rental housing in Colorado since the program began in Colorado.

CHFA allocates these tax credits and administers the LIHTC program in accordance with its Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP).

See the current plan, including drafts and changes, as well as historical plans for previous years.

Hear from residents, developers, architects, and contractors as they discuss affordable housing’s role in helping to shape sustainable communities.
