are you impacted by "compassion fatigue"?

Vicarious trauma, or compassion fatigue, is the significant physical and emotional strain that people in helping roles can experience in their work. Vicarious trauma is cumulative; it is not just one bad event or statement that is heard. It is the ongoing work we do with individuals, and at times, in combination with our own life events.

Attend one of two chfareach offerings of “Understanding Vicarious Trauma.” Learn how vicarious trauma might be impacting your team, and ways to prevent or mitigate your own compassion fatigue.
