statewide workplace safety series

In April we kick off a statewide Workplace Safety Certificate series. Session One will provide students a general understanding of safe work practices to implement at their projects. Topics will include: general workplace safety, recognizing and preventing hazards, chemical storage and safety data sheets, and tool safety.

Session Two will provide training on many of the most common safety hazards and tasks participants face on a daily basis. Topics covered are fall protection, ladder safety, electrical safety, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Students may sign up for one session or plan to complete the certificate by attending both. You will receive a discount on the pair when you register for both sessions from either class page.
