Coordinating Property Management and Resident Services, Denver 07.13.18

With different metrics for success, property management and resident services can easily get siloed – perhaps even working at cross-purposes. This daylong workshop is designed to help guide you through the connections between managing housing facilities and sites, and affording residents convenient access to the services they need.

Understanding and Managing PTSD and Traumatic Brain Injury, Denver 07.18.18

Anyone can be affected by Post-traumatic Stress Disorder. Trauma results when overwhelmingly stressful events shatter your sense of security, making you feel helpless and vulnerable. This includes survivors of physical and sexual assault, abuse, accidents, disasters, and many other serious events. In addition, recent studies say that as many as 30 percent of veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan may have sustained a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).

Overcoming Poverty: Lessons I Taught Myself, Denver 07.31.18

This interactive and engaging full-day session is filled with life lessons that Dr. Regina Lewis has experienced while working her way from poverty to her PhD. As a participant, you will learn the concepts that help to understand what divides and often creates misunderstanding between those whose living standards are insecure and those whose standards are middle class.
