rural rental housing preservation academy opportunity coming to colorado!A new Colorado Rural Rental Housing Preservation Academy (Academy) begins in April 2020.

The Academy is a series of no-cost training and peer learning sessions designed to help rural housing providers acquire and/or preserve USDA Rural Development (RD) and other restricted rental housing in Colorado.
Offered by Enterprise Community Partners, Colorado Housing Finance Authority (CHFA), Colorado Health Foundation, the Colorado Division of Housing (DOH) and Fannie Mae, the Academy will be open to existing owner/operators interested in preserving rental assistance (RA) in their properties, or parties interested in acquisition for the purpose of preservation of RA and the affordability of the units. Nonprofit participants and housing authorities are eligible to receive no-cost, targeted one-on-one technical assistance in a series of training and peer learning sessions designed to help rural housing providers and nonprofits acquire and/or preserve income restricted housing in rural Colorado.
Travel stipends to participate in the Academy sessions will also be available.
Applications for the Academy will be available in October 2019.
