online homebuyer education fee increase CHFA’s approved third-party online homebuyer education provider (eHA) announced an increase in their administration fee that will result in an increase to the current online class fee structure.
Effective Monday, September 15, 2014, CHFA-approved online classes will cost $99 for the borrower and $49 for each additional coborrower. These fees may still be counted toward the $1,000 minimum borrower contribution required for a CHFA loan. Online classes are also available in Spanish.
No other changes apply to the online class at this time. Please note that online classes require a post-class counseling session for all borrowers and coborrowers.
In addition, please remember that in-person classes are still free.
