  1. Certified Professional of Occupancy (CPO) Certification with Rocky AHMA, Denver | October 10-12, 2018

    The Certified Professional of OccupancyTM (CPOTM) course is a comprehensive program offered by the National Affordable Housing Management Association (NAHMA) for property management staff in affordable developments. It is the only occupancy course that covers the new HUD 4350.3 Handbook in its entirety, with specific handbook references cited in the margins of the course text. The CPO is a requirement for NAHMA's National Affordable Housing Professional (NAHP®) certification program.

  2. Understanding Medicaid Buy-In, Denver | October 10, 2018

    Health First Colorado Buy-in programs help many Coloradans with disabilities who may otherwise have too much income or resources to qualify for Medicaid manage their health and improve health outcomes. This workshop will teach attendees about the Health First Colorado Buy-in programs. Attendees will learn what makes someone eligible for buy-in programs, the application and enrollment process, and the benefits available.

  3. Fair Housing 101, Estes Park | October 10, 2018

    The Colorado Civil Rights Division's housing anti-discrimination training introduces Colorado Fair Housing laws. The class focuses on protected classes and disability discrimination, including reasonable accommodations and modifications. Fair Housing 101 is presented at no cost to participants.

Advanced Fair Housing: Legal Update, Grand Junction & Webinar | October 9, 2018

By staying on top of legal developments, landlords and property managers are better equipped to avoid common problems that lead to fair housing trouble and have a better idea of how to resolve tenant grievances or complaints before they escalate into something more formal. In this webinar, instructor Annie Deprey Murphy will reviewing recent developments in fair housing law: HUD updates, court rulings, settlements, and enforcement agency actions.
